Gross debt issuances in 2014 were similar to 2013’s, with €239,535 billion, while net debt issuances reached a value of 57,569 billion, which represents a decrease of 18.1%.

Approximately 95% of the net funding went to 10-year- bonds. Thus, the average maturity at the end of the year stood at 6.17 years, exceeding more than three months that of 2013.

As we reported not long ago, currently half of Spanish debt is owned by foreign investors.
